YAY CATPIN AMERICA AND IRON MAN! They were just meant to be. Ready for this, I am going to blow your mind. If you have seen Captain America then you will have remembered that the tesseract was in that movie. At the end of the Captain America movie, mr. stark, tony starks' father, finds the tesseract in the ocean and takes it. Now think of the second Iron man. in the second Iron man, Tony "made" a "new" element. Well what if that element is not new. I believe that tony stark's father studied the tesseract and found out a way to remake it. So, Tony made the same element as the tesseract which then explains why he could use "his" "new" element to run his entire new building in the avengers movie. Also to mention that the captain america shield is seen in the second Iron man and that Captain America was close to tony's dad.
