The ones without the fur shawl are better, more true to the game, plus that lets you see the chainmail sleeves, which is the most noticable part. Makes it look more armor-y.

Then again, being frigid skyrim and all, why didn't those guards wear thicker gear...?

I know, right? And why japanese weave 6 in 1 chainmail? I did a shoot outside a few days before this one, and that chainmail gets freezing cold within seconds. I can understand if it were an outer layer of a thicker protective garment, but chainmail on bare skin is just asking for frostbite.

"Let me guess, someone stole your sweetroll?"

No, but someone did run off with my sweet troll. I miss Mr. Snugglebum.

The name snugglesbum raises many questions, does he have a bum like a pillow that can be snuggled for sleeping purposes? Does it consist of very soft fur? How did one discover the snuggle bum?

If he didn't have a snuggly bum, why would someone run off with him?

"In Nordic/Scandinavian countries, "taking an arrow to the knee" meant that you are getting married/already got married. It refers to when we propose, we fall to one knee, comparing it to when a man gets shot in the leg, he, of course, falls to one knee." -Elder Scrolls Wiki
Really cool stuff!

That was back when he was an adventurer, before he became a guard, you expect it to still be there?
