Eos, God of the Dawn
"The ancient god of the sunrise, this fiery deity plays a crucial role in the natural cycles of the earth.
Each night, when the sun dips below the horizon and darkness spreads over the world, it is his sacred duty to battle the monstrosities that come forth under the starlight. Once he is victorious, his ascension back into the sky heralds the rise of the sun.
It is said, should this deity be struck down, that darkness will slowly creep over the earth, trickling in time with the god’s blood as it drops from his broken body."

Today's #Equinemarch topic was Friesian but I didn't want to do a horse portrait of a friesian, we already have enough art for them So instead I decided to give it another twist and create my entry for JadeMere 's Surreal Animal Contest. Sunday mornings inspire me!

#EQUINEMARCH: An equine drawing challenge!!Hello there! I'm little by little getting back from my hiatus and clearing my inbox I hope you are all fine!
March is my birthday's month and to celebrate I wanted to create a Drawing Challenge for equine artists or artists who would like to practice equines! It has some fanart, real breeds and mythological creatures, all equine related. I posted it on my IG account and it gatehred some interest so I will post it here too just in case you'd like to join too under the hashtag #equinemarch
I will upload to my dA gallery only the paintings that I really like, but once the challenge is over, I will post a big file with all the rest too! I will be posting them daily on my instagram account too.
Anyways, I hope you like this idea and join the fun!
