New AU where Asgore's dad owes the royal family an apology (And a lot of money probably) so he makes it up to them by giving them a couple of his sons as indentured servants. Basically slaves. Stupid!

Toriel, a queen without a husband, a father or brothers to help her, is currently in charge of the whole kingdom and on the outlook for husband material. Naturally she takes a liking to Asgore She pretty quickly promotes him to personally serving her, which makes her advisor Gaster (a friend of the late king) raise an eyebrow, since it is his professional opinion that Toriel should be marrying one of the eligible princes from the nearby kingdoms in order to grow her power.

This is not a romance between a slave and master per-se because Toriel's kingdom and cultures has principles based on the Bible, and as such they would not force anyone to get married, nor would they allow Toriel to marry Asgore without first releasing him from bondage. That would be cringe!

Of course they end up together and they're very happy

(after gaster seriously messes everything up. what a jerk)
