Description
BETWEEN LIGHT AND DARK
Squint your eyes once. Squint your eyes twice.
Open them and see the shadow long and slick.
Is there something there?
Just beyond my field of visions?
Had I awakened or am I still asleep?
My mind beset by rules and tradition, closed and waddling in the mire of doubt.
Am I awake yet?
Have I been sleeping for so long?
I can see the light just behind the visage of what is logical.
So important to be logical here. Here in the now.
So I sleep again, caught between light and dark, where awareness has come adrift once more.
