“The dreams of those who have died in their sleep call to the living by day, who are no more aware of them than they are of the flaring deaths of distant suns. Some of the living are aware of these dreams remotely, in the way the blind are aware of color. Yet the awareness passes before it can be named in thought, only to be given shape later as dreams that are in turn forgotten come morning.

I like this, but it gives me a sad vibe.... to me, it seems like rather than sitting on whatever it is and dreaming happily, she is sitting on whatever it is remembering.. sadly.... or not quite believing something.... or perhaps wondering-- you know, one of those "what if" things.... but I especially get the sadly remembering and not quite believing thing.....
Beautiful though, just in a bit of a sad/painful way for me

This is a beautiful picture (I really like the boots)--but more than that, it makes me feel really nostalgic, cuz I just got back from camp with a beautiful river that I could honestly sit beside for hours. So I really like this--sorry I can't be critical, but this really is beautiful.

This is gorgeous. I love the feeling, the old-world atmosphere, the dark solitude, the innate childishness (AND I WANT THOSE BOOTS). It's not often that you see a shot of, well, feet, that is so enthralling. Beautiful work.

Wow, this picture is really cool. For some reason, though, I'm not getting the whole "childhood nostalgia" feel that everyone else has. This kind of makes me think of the old witch hangings in the 1600s, but perhaps that's because I just watched a show about witch hunts.

this picture reminded of how magical sitting and having my feet hanging in the air is. i find it childish in a way since as a kid i had my feet hanging in the air when sitting on a couch or a chair or a car seat. brings back beautiful memories on how simple things made me happy. i love this picture for that.

I love how you've taken a very - excuse my use of word - 'cliche' subject and turned it into something unique. I think what attracts me most is the shoes and the skirt to be honest, it's very vintage-goth. And black and white, of course, is beautiful. Gorgeous. Congrats on the DD.

im not one to get too cryptic with comments but for some reason this makes me think of hielo negro... mexican stoner/desert rock.. it has a real wild west feel, probably the dress coupled with the boots... the crop is brilliant. great camera, shows in the shot
