Description
An aborted drawing of Brixham Harbour that has been sitting in a drawer for at a very long time. I had a lingering fondness for Brixham, where several family holidays were spent during my childhood, and this was the view from the place where we would stay. The drawing was probably abandoned as a project some time in the 90s. It turned up during a fodjucking (sorting-out/attempted-decluttering) session. I don't know what to do with it, so I decided to scan it (the four pages it straddles) and stick it up as it is. The drawing has quite a lot of detail, the finished area, anyway, but the paper isn't in good condition, and I doubt it would withstand an attempt to finish it off in the original media (biro drawing and coloured pencils). Might be nice to give it a digital makeover at some point.
