Sometimes things don't work out as planned.
Sometimes patience is getting you nowhere.
When Olvado had first arrived at GSR, he's already been a grumpy mess.
An Obertaurer that got rehomed after several issues and seemingly unable to
bond with a handler at his previous stable. Though as much as Kenny tried
to jump into the position and fill the hole, Olvado simply didn't seem to have it.
It was frustrating to say the least. To have adopted an Obertaurer with bonding
issues, just to face the same problem as well.
Lero has spoken out the thought that Kenny didn't dare say - that maybe it
was better to release him back into the wild, with his previous herd. It was
obvious that Olvado had trust issues. While he wasn't mistreated at all at his
former place, the fact that he had no personal handler he could rely on
obviously didn't do him well. And it showed on his outgrown fuzz and ungroomed
hair, since he disallowed anyone into his personal space for too long and so far
it was only getting worse.
Lero carried some apples to the meadow. They have fallen from the tree and
the staff already had Apfelstrudel and Apfelkompott for the past days.
The horses would surely enjoy them too though. At least so he thought. Until
Olvado approached him and chose violence - kicking the bucket and by that
squishing one fruit under his hoove.
Keith, standing behind them in some distance, immediately lifted his head,
weighing the situation, ready to act if Olvado would move any closer to Lero.
The man stared at Olvado and inhaled long and audibly through his nose,
before flipping him off with an unnerved hiss of "Well, fuck you too!".
