is obscured
but i don't mind
there is no horizon
but the buildings keep
on rising and rising
this is more
than just a place
to raise a family
it's a place to raise the funds
to obscure the horizon
in other corners too

this one stops me . usually abstract photos don't need much comments , i feel .
your words always add much meaning to them . but this one , even without the words , means so much .i feel moved by it... i relate in every way .

You have a thing for abstract-ish photos huh? XD They're really nice. This photo really caught my eye though. The contrast of the edge of the building and the sky's really brilliant. Awesome shot. ^___^

pity. i do enjoy the shaped spaces in DL's like the shapes of the buildings. the experience of the spaces are even stronger since you are 'inside'.
practice looking .. indeed. i just started to take photographs again after some years and thats what i mentioned as well - the view changes if you frame and focus 'actively'.

true, but i don't like the elitism of the inside
outside is for everyone to see
inside, just for the special ones

i have decided to have no interest in that which isn't open to all

that's why i like DL's cultural, public buildings most isn't the LMU building semi-public at least? and it's not the arch.'s fault when the user / owner locks up the buildings.

security has changed drastically recently, and was already doing so before 9/11 and 7/7... it can be difficult taking photos of the outside of many buildings in london

no it's not the architect's fault... great design is expensive
ugliness comes cheap
