yep it is elegant, my only wish is that the hair wasn't so nappy

Her hair isn't "nappy", a hairstyle like that is achieved by giving the hair extra volume, so it's not condensed and tangled, which is what it means for hair to be nappy.
And quite often that term can be offensive, so you should be a little careful with it. I am not here to flame you, I am simply informing you since your comment struck me.

Well usually when someone says nappy it relates directly to the fact they're black or any other race with this type of hair. In that sense, it can be taken offensively as something negative that is being said about the texture of our hair.
