The "Hollywood" nickname is a stab at his looks by the others. None of them held down day jobs, they survived on tithes given to "The Brotherhood". Wouldn't surprise me if say, V did some freelance computer systems work or something though. As I understand it, Wrath's attitude towards the council was a case of "Not interested, go stuff yourselves" (Me being polite ^^)
I like the way you did his lip, lips in general are harder to draw. Scar's on lips normally show up as a puffy white line with red edges (a friend got hit by a piece of flying metal at one point, saw it in each stage of stitches, healing and sealed). You've depicted him well and caught his attitude.

If you can find a picture of a lip scar, that would be awesome. I didn't have much luck on that front. Also, thanks for commenting!

I honestly don't think any one "likes" Phury. I can appreciate what Ward was "trying" to do with the character, but her lack of research in to what true addiction is was appalling to me. Not to mention I just couldn't stand the poor me pity party that was 70% of the book. I liked him in the earlier books, he was just more likeable, In my opinion Ward turned him into something he never should have been allowed to be.
P.S. I would really love to see how the Brothers lived before they all moved into that fortress. Having them all live together is convenient for storytelling...but unrealistic IMO. I mean didn't they have jobs? I know Rhage was a Model or something (Hollywood!)

She was a nurse. Creative liberties, I guess? I just really didn't enjoy it, especially as the romance just seemed lacking. At the end of the book, I still felt like he'd just made a friend or something. It seems a bit like a cock-up to tie together the loose ends she'd made.
It'd be cool to know that! I somehow can't picture Zsadist working as a grocery store clerk. xD But he probably lived in a hovel, anyway.

I agree, I like him too, though it took me a while. I feel like he's a lot harder to connect to because so much of his pain(and, thus, his motivation to do drugs) comes from his back story where his mother and father can't look at him without remembering their lost son. Then, when he rescued Z, he thought he would finally have someone in his life who would love him unconditionally, but by then Z was so scarred he couldn't handle the kind of affection Phury wanted.I think that Ward's decision to rely only on Phury to detail his backstory to the reader weakened the character.

You're the first person I know to ever like Phury. Kudos.

Z, Butch, and Rhev make me happy. Anyway, you're in luck! I do hope to draw Phury, despite not liking him. Or it's lucky if you think that face up there can match up with Phury, anyway.
