Portrayed by Vic Mignogna, interestingly, both characters were closely associated with someone, who's portrayed by Dameon Clarke
(Broly = his father, Paragus and Bui = his rival and team ally, Younger Toguro)
Both combats formerly had their powers restrained via an accessory
(Broly = A head ring device = Bui = His armor)
Both of their attacks and spirit-aura are green based.
Both faced off against a spiky hair character.
(Broly = Vegeta Bui = Hiei)
The only difference of this, Broly defeats Vegeta whereas Bui loses to Hiei

B-class level Bui is shattered glass to Broly, who would vaporise the entire Dark Tournament along with Hangneck Island. On the other hand if he were an high S class level it would be equal footing depending on both's power level.

My point exactly hence this Death Battle should not happen. It would be a one-sided bout from start to end. As stubborn and thickheaded as Bui was he would not be dumb enough to challenge someone who is obviously stronger than Toguro. Toguro Ototo might be a worthy opponent but even at his 100% state he would still unable to match with a full powered Super Saiyan Broly. It's plain nuts!
Broly is too strong of a character to match with anyone from YYH. Broly is too strong even on his own movies hence we always get to see him beaten by three or more characters. Be it via contributed energy from other Z-Fighters or Family Kamehamehas.

And dont forget, Broly nearly killed Goku and he would have, if Goku hadnt taken energy from his friends.Futhermore Broly has reached horrifying saiyan levels recently (SSJ3, Golden Great Ape, SSJ4)...... and worse....we can imagine Broly having a SSG(Super Saiyan God) or SSG2 (Super Saiyan God 2) form, and therefore, Bui or Young Toguro(even at 120%) is sooooo obliterated to nothing by Broly's hands.Your points are absolutely true, anyone fighting against Broly is almost absolute futile, yet some people think someone like Superman (i havent seen too much of Super's recent power but heard) can defeat Broly, regardless of what Saiyan level he is

That's complete horse shit! Clearly, it's simply a case of fans being fans and being overprotective of their beloved character. Broly is and would remain to be a movie villain if he does make the jump to being a TV/Manga character then that would've totally change the landscape of things.

Absolutely, fans would say anything to overprotect a character based on overrated popularity. And for Broly, it would be very interesting if he appeared in Dragon Ball Super or some future DBZ movie with a new transofrmation like they did for Frieza

Honestly, I'm not really all that impressed with his gold form. Seems like a lazy way to repackage an old character. I haven't seen Resurrection or Super yet but I had my doubts about the series altogether!

Sorry but from the way it looks, Bui is no planet buster!!! You'd have to be at least a planet buster to even stand a chance against him.

Although, Bui is no...planet buster(unless he's a level S-class demon, who could par with Broly), Bui can not only hold back his opponent's strongest and deadliest energy attacks at bay, but can repel them back at his opponents(depending on how powerful it is).Since he reflected back Hiei's ultimate-powered Dragon of the Darkness Flame, on a massive amount of effort. Bui has a 5% of doing so and could do the same with Broly's Omega Blaster attack(unless Broly makes his Omega Blaster attack more powerful, Bui is vaporized)Plus, Bui is not just brute strength, but also quite a strategist unlike Broly, who is just brute strength.Not saying Bui can defeat Broly, Bui would still fare against him. However, if Broly were to go LSSJ3 or higher or the possible chance of turning SSG, Bui is absolutely gone, even when he's at S-Class level.

Ok , say for example Broly does shoot an attack and Bui repels it somehow. He's going to get frustrated and throw an attack that'll destroy half the planet and boom... Bui's gone... Bui might repel Hiei's ultimate attack, but is his ultimate attack a planet buster??? I highly doubt it. If your asking my honest opinion, the fight won't go on too long. Broly is pure evil and won't stop at nothing. Bui might be the strongest in his universe but nothing compared to Z fighters.

On top of that, Broly was getting annoyed and kept relentlessly thrashing Goku, due to Goku's determination of defeating him and Broly on the verge of killing him (DBZ movie 8) and destroying the Earth in a last ditch effort to destroy Gohan and Goten. (DBZ movie 10)
And for the Planet topic;
A B-class(which Dark Tournament Bui currently was and Hiei formerly, capable of destroying an island or city, not a planet)
an S-Class can likely destroy the world or possibly a planet (e.g Yomi, Yusuke's and Raizen's S-class energy shook the entire landscape whenever they power up(also changing the sky and weather, in Raizen's case). and If Hiei reached an upper S-class and trained with his DODF, his ultimate attack can likely detonate a planet.

I highly doubt that, but even if he did have the power to blow the planet, it's still nothing compared to Broly, who again can blow up galaxies. He takes planet busting explosions to his face. Bui is really more comparable to ichigo or Natsu. Against broly though, it's almost no competition.
