Made as a commission - my commissioner ordered this for his wife - he wanted lots of butterflies and pink and purple.

Flutter was first airbrushed all those shades of purple, then her lace was applied and she was sprayed pink. I used several shades of pink, but the effect is very subtle, which I just love <3
Her mask is microbeads - there are 2 shades of pink, 2 of purple. They were hand applied and sent me a bit crazier, and then given a layer of gloss.
The butterflies are acetate and fantasy film, which was then punched into tiny butterfly shapes, the wings were shaped and attached to the pony. Then I applied glitter in various colours and patterns, microbeads and glitter for the bodies and gallery glass for shinyness Theres quite a few of them, as I wanted to create a kind of 'butterfly swarm' look
Hair is Tea Rose, Heartthrob, Raspberry Sorbet, Sour Grapes, Ultraviolet, Sugar Plum and Deadly Nightshade all from Dollyhair. That was twisted and pinned, then the butterfly hairpiece was added.
All paint is artist grade acrylic, sealed with dullcote, eyes sealed with triple thick.
