How many pcs did you use for the base? And what size of paper 1/16 or 1/32 (A4)?

I use smaller as 1/32.. I use 3cm by 2cm.. it's close to 1/64... BUT you can use 1/32 it doesn't matter.
for the base of the body I used 12 and for the base of the head 16

What paper did u use? I used printing paper but could not find enough colours. where did u get such colour and what type of paper? maybe a brand name? thanks a lot
