Yay! my original creation in a long time!
isn't she cute? (okay I wasn't original with the name..becuase I don't know how to call her)I've made this one for the contest!
this one is made out of paper origami modules, which I varnished afterwards

I just use regular, 90g/m2 colored papers for my work, nothing special
and when I finished my models I varnish them with some watery varnish like aleene's or van dijck. but the brand is not that important, the key is watery, so when it dries, the water will be absorbed by the paper, and the holes will not be filled with the varnish

what do you do to make your single pieces look so neat??? whenever I make them it doesn't look neat like yours.... Also do you glue these parts?? or is there a way to make them stick??

it's a little trick, called the advanced puff fold. it's explaned in the second half of this video: [link]
hopefully that helps you!
I don't use glue to glue every piece (some do) I only use glue for putting on legs or wings, that kind of stuff. and when I am done with a model, I'll always varnish it ^^
