Hello!!
Thank you for your message!
I don't have a diagram or something.. =/ I only made a small tutorial on how to make the curve for the head of the macaw, which you can find here: delinlea.webs.com/apps/blog/sh…
Please note that making a macaw is hard, and you need to know some tricks. Don't worry if you can get it right the first try, keep on trying till you know how to make it.. I used a lot picutres of real macaws to see what their shape is.

Good luck!

wow this is intense, good job, but what did you use to make the paper so shiny? I tried glue for mine but it did not turn out the way that I hope for

Oops! Just read the other comments that you don't have a diagram sorry for asking So what are you using as a guide? How did you start the base and how many units for the base?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Delinlea In reply to Chongman [2011-11-23 16:54:01 +0000 UTC]

haha thanks, and that's okay, I understand that many people will make one! so was I when I saw David foos' a year ago.
I'm using pictures of real macaws as guide, and I watch many videos on youtube! just to look how big they are, were the wings are..how they move etc..

I started with his head, not with the beak (which is glued on) the bease is 24. the trick is to add more rows on the upperside of the head, so it will curve.

Yeah i have to keep some of my stuff for me too... i sold and give away some almost all my works... lots of time, but well, the thing is to enjoy the travel

Delinlea In reply to iDoux [2011-12-01 17:34:25 +0000 UTC]
