I like what you do with your work and what you use the tools for. If I were to make a couple of suggestions for a lot of the pieces you use rocks and mountains etc, I find a lot of the meshes are very "blobby" A good texture on a blobby mesh looks like just that. Vue gives some amazing simulation stuff for environments but does it use Depth of field? I've only ever used it as an addon in other software. Some DOF effects would make a lot of your subjecs "pop" from the backgrounds. Rendering everything as crisp as possible makes things look flat. If you use Zbrush, you can take some of those blobby rock meshes and make them look real and convincing. A chain is only as good as it's weakest link.Β
Other than those things you have some great looking stuff.

Vue does have DOF, but I don't use it. Β I come from a traditional painting background and I like my digital images to have that style where everything is in focus rather than looking like a photo. Β Yeah, the standard terrains in vue make for somewhat weak mountains, but I've been using Vue's procedural terrains for some of my more recent stuff which do tend to look a little better.

AHA ok Yeah I can see how that works if you are going for a more traditional "painted" feel Good job! If you ever want some rocks or stuff modeled, let me know. I'd be more than happy to help.
