I've always loved cougars, since I was very little. My favorite suffered animal is one, he still loves in my room at 29 years of my age.
I've... been depressed a very long time. I have Aspergers, meaning my brain doesn't process lots of things, especially social cues, as most people's brains normally do. It was hard enough to be comfortable in life with that.
And it made me vulnerable to a worm-tongued bully in high school. I broke, like a green stick flexed too much, and tied in knots.
I took years to overcome that trauma enough to try to pick a course forward again. I have struggled more than I've advanced since. Lack of opportunity has combined with fear to keep me... often immobile. Unable or unwilling to pick a course.
I had heard of kintsugi before. I love Japanese aesthetics and much of Japanese culture, so I had read about it many times - in brief. I watched a video a few minutes ago, also brief, but which made me realize how much I want to learn the art of kintsugi. I went looking for art. And here I am...

This looks amazing :0 IThe fur has just the right amount of detail and the gold crack looks so interesting. I also love the way the fabric looks. It seems so soft and silky. Almost like satin or the fabric theatre curtains are made of.

I bet it would look interesting on a smaller scale in eyes as well, depicted like broken glass or something.
