Description My first shot from holidays in France on the Ile d' Re at the Atlantic Ocean.
This is the beach of La Couarde. Every evening we walked on this beautyful place to take a look and try to shot the sunset.
But nearly every evening clouds covered the sun. so this is one of only 4 beautyful sundowns in 3 weeks!

Is very interesting the form of the clouds and how they pass through the sun.

I am talking only a few words in french, but my wife have learned in school.
I know this wonderful country very well, I have visited in my childrenhood with my parents very often and later with my family. The people there are mostly friendy, but very often too proud to speak with another language then french, also they have learned english and sometimes german.
After the 2. worldwar till the seventies a lot of people where very refused to german visitors, because they never forget the defeat and the occupation, but now we are friends and we have not longer any problems in the last years. But we are always very courteous and moderate in this wonderful and big country. And the best: the wonderful french food and wine!
