Description
Max 5, Brazil, PhotoshopRendered in layers rather that one full piece. Lots of matte painting techniques used.
Lots of photographic stuff used for little touches.

larer and i'd like to answer a couple of key Qs.
1) I work for Games Workshop HQ and was commissioned to
make an Ultramarines ship so that's my reason for the chaper (I know very little about 40K)
2) Sorry about the lens flare people. I shall have to release the full double size version without lenseflare and with less smoke for the fans.

A wonderful piece, it excellently shows the high tech nature of the imperium's finest in the far future, while also showing their heavy reliance on gothic styled architecture: A true flying monestary for the chapter.

WOW Awsome, this is a brilliant piece of art. And for those who don't like the clouds or dust clouds, I see that they are there for realism. When have you seen a totally clear sky? In the warhammer world I'm sure this is a perfect example of what it would be like.

Lovely piece of work, very true to the Battlefleet Gothic model (I'm a Battlefleet Gothic player, though I can't say I collect Space Marines).
I can see why GW hired you o.o I think that has more detail than the actual models heh.

Have you ever seen/heard of Homeworld or Homeworld 2? The game play is so good it is video quality of other movies and for the movies they do drawings and stuff much like what you have above. You should check it out.
