She's definitely one of my favorite Disney princesses (though I really see her and Merida more as a brave warrior/heroine than as royalty) to work with in my drawings because you can give her any action pose and it will look badass.Β

Nice, what style is Mulan training her in?

After thinking it over carefully, I want to say kenpo. But it could be wushu also. Take your pick.Β

I would say wushu since Mulan's past. Β However, you can say it's Shorinji Kempo since it combines elements from Shaolin kung fu and kempo.

Star is one of my favorite characters to work with in drawing. Her energetic personality makes her a perfect foil for Mulan's steadiness. It took me a while to figure out who to follow Kim Possible from my last dojo piece and I figured Star would be the best candidate after I read she was good at hand-to-hand combat (I'm still making my way through binging the whole series and have some catching up to do).Β
