In shadows deep where darkness reigns,
A haunting presence, fear's domain.
Bound by chains that grip the soul,
The whispers of dread take their toll.
With every step, the weight does grow,
The chains of fear, a relentless woe.
They coil and twist, a prison tight,
Constricting hope, extinguishing light.
In trembling hearts, their grip is firm,
Chaining minds to horrors, a wicked term.
Each link a shackle, a torment severe,
Binding dreams, feeding on every fear.
The rattling echoes, a chilling sound,
As fear's chains wrap tightly around.
They strangle courage, crush resolve,
And in their grip, the spirit dissolves.
Oh, how they dance, those chains of dread,
Woven with nightmares, in darkness spread.
But break them we must, with fiery might,
To reclaim our souls and banish the night.
For deep within, a strength does dwell,
A flame of hope that can repel,
