go ask aliceshe was like the fire
searing moments of electricity
carried in her purse
notes of the underground
writing scribbles in between the pages,
she knew the names of everyone she ever met
making small paintings on paper
swirling kaleidoscopes of thoughts and passion
the day always came when she left,
she took her heart on the road
met strangers
left donations
sat quietly on park benches
watching the days go slowly by,
very late in the day
she often thought she was Alice
loved to say
"go feed your head,"
loved to walk alone
in the forest
bringing back small animal skulls
she found along the way,
left the bones in her yard
drank Absinthe and sugar cubes
with a straw
smoked Cubans and blew smoke rings
out into the fog

that was a hard shot to get,
had to climb up on a SF city bus and snap as the driver started driving off and I got off just before the Broadway Tunnel

these words are from the book?
i haven't read it, and i think it isn't released in our language.. though, the first thought was about jefferson airplane's song, and the words 'go as alice, when she's ten feet tall' very fit for this photo. of course, you have to look at these buildings with a little bit imagination..

I recommend Go Ask Alice, it is a published diary of a girl who lost her life to drugs, it's very interesting.

I like this, it's so psychedelic. It inspires a kaleidoscope of patterns in my head. This is actually the kind of music I tend to listen to, I'm not sure why I hadn't been really exposed to them before (I guess I just assumed they were a goth band due to their title.) I really like the videos thanks for showing them to me.
