Always have adored the colour relation to the landscape and portrait subject. In the way that you to be the maker of fine distinction and your approach to be truly inspirational.
Furthermore the reflection on the metal plate is immensely captivating, accompanied by the stance of such pride and eternal consciousness in the distinguishable male.
Absolutely outstanding painting and one I will never forget. A most iconic artwork.

Still a striking picture after all those years; I'm generally more a fan of your fantasy work, but the colors and reflections on this piece--and the contrast between flat reflective planes and the geared articulations--are still eyepopping.
