Description Welcome to my final work for 2013.  I would like to thank my good friend Pe for allowing me to put poetry to her wonderful work of art.  I knew right away what I wanted to write for this particular artwork.  I was reminded of a story of a young woman who got engaged before her fiance left for Afghanistan.  Within his first 6 months there he was killed by an IED.  His family was not aware of their engagement, and the only thing she had of his was a class ring that he gave her.  I just improvised a bit to be able to write it down as a work of poetry, and I hope it is something that the both of them would have liked.
