Took it with a Canon 450D, 50mm f/1.4 attached + macrofilter 4+ and a CPL filter.
Postproccesed it in PS CS5.

Vision
I can definitely tell there is a theme here. It’s very nice and I think the title suits the photograph well. The theme is very calm, peaceful, and beautiful; just like the photograph. I think the title was just perfectly suited to the theme. Very well done!
Originality
I think that this photograph isn’t entirely original or entirely common either. I think that this isn’t too hard to come about (meaning coming up with the idea), but I still think it’s very nice. I would add something more so it was a little bit different, but anyhow, I don’t think your main focus was the originality was it? Technique
Really I admire how you blurred the background, I probably would have blurred out the other leaves surrounding the sharpened one a bit more, so then the sharpened one would look more noticeable, maybe it would look a little cleaner if you moved the other leaves aside from the sharpened one too. I really like how it’s a very light background which makes it seem more eye-catching. The darker leaves make it noticeable which was very nice too. Impact
The theme itself has its own impact which I really admire; the title and the photograph suit each other so well that you can feel peaceful and happy and glad just like that. The lighting also adds to the beauty of it and the happiness. The leaves and how calm they look just sitting there make you calm, not to mention that you blurred out the back with the focus on the leaves making almost like blocking out the chaos (if there is any) and just focusing on calmness, beauty, and peace.
This was a very nice photograph and I enjoyed critiquing this photo.

I actually like this A LOT.
I like the way the focus is on only a couple of leaves, and everything else is blurred out. The color scheme is marvelous, fresh and springy. Congrats
