Aaah, Spawn! God, I loved this character! McFarlane changed the course of comic books history when he created and came out with Al Simmons aka Spawn. I used to draw him even in my sleep.
This was a period when I was very influenced by Jim (the man) Lee and Marc Silvestri, which probably shows.
This drawing of mine has a beautiful history. I remember having made the layout and pencils in the 12th grade and I left it that way. Then college begun and it remained forgotten on a shelf for quite a while. Every summer break when I went home I used to watch it but for some reason or another never got to actually finish it up until somewhere between the 3rd and 4th year. I just loved it so much I couldn't leave it like that. So I finally finished it. Great memories.
