Description To save your time (and sanity) the next set of cards that I made will be presented in batches rather than as a whole, starting with all the white cards.

Browsing through the cards, you'll notice a pattern: they're all kids. My set's criteria is that a character is considered a child if they less than fifteen years or of equivalent age relative to their species.

Why make a bunch of kid cards? I've seen them in many media, always depicted negatively, annoyingly or as objects: naive or idiotic leads, comic relief, wiseasses, annoying relatives, punching bags and victims, unlikeable gods or villains, you name it. As such, people tend to turn up their noses on them in favor of the far more popular people. I saw the opportunity to question this way of thinking by doing something about it.

Historically, Magic has never depicted children in battle due to their greenhorn status. It wasn't until Unhinged when we first had a glimpse of three actual kids: a weak weenie, a trio of pseudo-wizards and a demonic grinning mouse. Obviously, that wasn't enough. In the last two sets I made, you saw "playable" greenhorns like Wego Twins, Haley, Kinder Ron, and Cousin Shawn.

The fight to push kids into the forefront continues in this new set. Give them a chance, and they'll grow into proper adults in the future.

* I know. Most of the kids are from Anime, but that's only because they're more notable than their Western Animation friends. I'll try and diversify (and maybe keep myself from making too many reprints).

* I want kids of both genders to be equally represented, so I'll made it so that the gender ratio would be close to 1.

Interesting, especially the theme of "youth matters." White being the color of innocence, it makes sense that it would have the highest kid concentration.
