I have a 6B pencil (faber-castell) but I don't know why I can't get the dark ...like your drawing ;c any advice?

I use 9B it's slightly darker and press HARD, or keep drawing on the same layer until it's really dark

i use derwent B-6B pencils.. haven't tried other brands though ~
it took me about 3 hours i guess :/ not really sure
