Description
Before humanity ever entered space, a dog was there first. The Soviet Space Dog, Laika, was the first living being to orbit the Earth. Sadly, she was also the first living being to die in orbit due to overheating.I like to think that she made it into space unharmed and is just waiting for someone to find her so they can play a game of Fetch.

I feel so sad about Laika... She was made to die by the Germans. If space turned out to be inhabitable she would die, and even if it's habitable she dies because there's no way to bring her back. Poor Laika...
