Description This bridge was built in 1896 as part of a trolley system connecting Glen Echo to Washington, DC. The trolley last ran just prior to WWII.

If you find yourself in the DC area, it is worth a little side trip. Most everyone hits the giant tourist traps and museums. I prefer the quiet backwaters.
