Harry Potter's fanart submission for a charity auction for the Harry Potter Alliance supporting children's literacy, done for a good friend of mine, ~Sepia-Mortis . I didn't remember when did the last time I've drawn Lupin, but surely it's been more than a couple years, which I believe maybe the last time I drew him was the time I was in high school *facepalmed*Enjoy!

you did this nicely, but it's not lupin. lupin has light brown hair flecked with grey, and looks either tired or ill. this is GREAT, don't get me wrong, but this could be, like a blond harry potter.

Love the charity, wonderful.
Execution: beautiful. You have a lovely feeling of "glowing" to your work which adds to the mystical quality of things. I love tghat you picked colors from the image to match the floor, which unifies the whole image. Great job! The angle is powerful and dynamic. I cannot say enough good things about your execution.
Concept wise, I don't feel like this says "Lupin" to me. I see the scars, sure, but for some reason the look in his eyes says "Cedric Diggory." I always felt like Lupin would look a little more, "Haunted" due to his condition, but that is of course a matter of perspective

this is what i think of what remus and the others would looklike....
I love the movies and the books...
but the movies portrayed Sirius, Remus, Snape as being older than what they really are.
You have to think...
HP born 1980...
His parents born around 1960...
So the "adults" would be around 30 when harry started at hogwarts, so why did they get 40-50 year old actors to play the parts of a thirty year old...it just doesn't make sense...
