Description

A view from the top of Seneca Rocks just after the sun had dipped behind the mountains to the right. Now that I look at the composition I maybe should have moved the angle bit more to the right. Although to be fair there wasn't any room to move without giving up my safe stand. And that's surely not something I'm ever planning to do: To risk falling just to get a arguably better angle for a picture... Not like another guy who balanced on one foot on the ridge in the foreground here, posing for a picture. No wonder people are dying up here.

This picture, as well as all the others, are dedicated to our awesome friends Gretchen and Dave, who gave us a car out of nowhere to do this trip. Without them this trip would have been impossible. Another special thanks goes to jonathanjessup for putting together a fantastic list of places to visit in very short notice! He enabled us to just go and make the most of our time.

Location: Seneca Rocks, Monongahela National Forest, West-Virginia, USA

Yeah but a lot of places that are deemed dangerous only have people dying because they act careless, stupid or both.
