Speed painting hereThis is a character I adopted from the artist It was love at first sight :'D I named him Dederick. I just changed a couple things from the original design. Hopefully that's ok.
Positives:
- Slowly easing myself into slightly more complex backgrounds.
- Really like how the tail, dagger, and hands turned out.
Room for Improvement:
- All of the colors honestly. I was trying to keep it more "realistic" but I think they ended up being sort of flat :/ I'll make him more "vibrant" the next time I draw him!
- Pretty sure his head is too big

I also really, really love the way you color ? It's like...a mix of harsher cell-shading which gives it a really pop-ish look, and soft which keeps it from looking cartoon-y ! ;; Especially the way you color hair, its so pro. You should make a tutorial ! ; U ;//

Teehee, I was also very much satisfied with the dagger. I hardly ever draw weapons but he seemed like someone who would have that.
Aaaaah thank you so much!! <3 <3 Well I am currently putting together all of the footage I have of drawing him to make a speed painting. So that'll be kind of my "tutorial" for now, haha ^_^ until I have the time to put together a nice fancy one.
