It's an amazing picture!
I've tried this myself several times but to no avail.
Do you use a tripod and a remote and try to capture the right moment?
And do you also use a support light shining from above(?) or is it perhaps taken outside?
Sorry if you don't like questions, I'm quite interested in the making of the picture since it is the essence of what makes it beautiful

I do not have access or money to acquire a remote which would make my life a lot easier in many cases but I do have a manual external flash I might be able to put to use, hmm...
Thanks for your answer, I really need to get myself a remote, popping a flash, dropping an object + taking the picture is too much multitasking even for myself, hehe.

I use a really cheap remote, I got for $7AU (5 euro). They are absolutely great for the price. I use it also for long exposures of the night sky, as it has a shutter lock on it as well. For 5 euro, there is no excuse not to have one

Nice works! Cool how the air captures the lime and multiply the images in reflection... appears as though it passes through the sky... negative space has sharpened the image
