I have to stop drawing Virgil in life threatening situations. XDBut that's what happens when I go to see Spiderman.

Oh nice pic...love the expressions! Shiv has that psychotic look in his eyes, like always. I wonder how V's gonna get outta this one...
But oh yeah! Now that you mention it, a few scenes from Spiderman 3 really do remind me of Static's disk fights. I liked the part when Harry was sneaking into the dark room...I totally knew he was going to pop up then xD

My favorite part is the lighting on Shiv's face from his glowy arms. The way the rest of the pic is fairly dark, and then Shiv's face is illuminated from the side and underneath by that eerie purple glow makes him look adequately crazy. And Static's expression is the perfect mixture of surprise and "oh shit."

Freaked out Static is delightful. I think I'm actually getting better with this face. For some reason its hard to draw.

I think drawing Virgil is hard because his face is so expressive in the series; it's a bit of a challenge to do depictions of his character true justice.

That is true. He is very expressive. I mean Shiv has only two expressions: maniac and confused.

Killer expressions, no pun intended. I love how he attacked the board Static is always flying around on - since no one does what should be obvious. I saw Spiderman 3 as well. I imagine Shiv and Eddy might have gotten along rather well. Too well...

I really love messing with a more intelligent Shiv. Or a more predatory Shiv to be exact.
After seeing Spiderman and especially the early scene with Harry and Pete fighting in the alley, it really made me think of Static and his disc fights. And of course because its me I think Shiv. I really think Shiv would actually have more of an advantage in that area if he could surprise him. He reminds me of a cheetah, fast but with no endurance. If he can't take Static out quickly, he can't.
