Birthday gift for ~JCStitches of her characters Aine, an oak hamadryad in her autumn phase (God, I love her hair), and Dillon Carroll, a music teacher and Aine’s best friend!

I had want to do this piece for a long time; it was intended to be Jen's birthday present last year, but I never got around to it until this week. She's getting another giftart piece for THIS year, so keep a look out for it!

I love doing autumn-themed artwork because they give me a good excuse to do warm color schemes and I can go a little crazy with bright, gold lighting! Also, I think this is the first time I've done shading underneath a tree, and I think it looks pretty good.
