Over the past few weeks, some of Jane Austen's wonderful works as audiobooks have accompanied me through a lot of night shifts. Even though I had already read them all in my youth, I was now surprised again by the wit and clear-sightedness as well as the incredible power of observation of this writer. So long ago and at such a young age!

For me, the books could also be a huge playground, with all the quirky characters I could make clothes for. For the gentlemen, too, that would definitely be a challenge. Well let's see

Here I made Lizzy's dress and the shawl and the dresses in the background as well.

The gentlemen wear the best regency clothes we have until now. The very old Regency set for G2M.

With a few tweaks and new shaders they are still beautiful. Even on G8M.

Btw. Mousso's Rain is the best Elizabeth I could think of; because I loved Keira K. in this role in my favorite movie adaptation from 2005.
