The coloring on this piece is absolutely exquisite and lends itself to a certain levity as this little mouse embarks upon their grand adventure and that is what feeling is evoked when looking at the piece, adventure.
It's as if this mousy fellow is telling us that they're about to set out on some grand quest and that we may wish them well or carry on with them but either way they are set upon going. It's quite a grand feeling and the choice of such bright colors really lends itself well to the feeling of a vast expanse of possibilities that may lie before the centerpiece character before us.
