this really breaks my heart... I couldn't just take the picture and leave the poor soul like that. conversely, i can't bear to spend much time in places that treat animals this way (and that goes for my hometown too, i never go there anymore, it's just too sad and people annoy me because they see nothing wrong with this and miriyad of other social problems)

A sense of abandon, lonliness, an owner who rarely fed him,
a walk to the park or pat on the head would be a dream
trapped in the his mind. A welcomed home is the cold tile,
of a granite stair way. Mothers pull their son away from
petting his cold head, an business man in a rush steps on his
tail and keeps walking like it was a dead leaf on a cold
autumn morning. He laid until the day of warmness would enter his heart.
