Character:
Sandman is a confident and dominant stallion. He loves to chase and capture mares and does not accept the presence of other stallions around them. He can be very aggressive and cruel to other stallions if he feels like they try to attack his position as the lead stallion. He's kinda out of control then and is able to hurt other horses badly.
He is not easy to ride since he starts bucking and rearing when he has to do thing he doesn't want to do, but if you get him to cooperate, it's a pleasure to enjoy his breathtaking dressage talent.
He loves to present himself, he loves music and he loves the circus. He really is the embodiment of a Harlequine.

Story:
He was born few days after our other Harlequine Joker. The two foals spent their childhood on our pastures and became good friends.
When they reached the age of three, we carefully started their training. Sandman was quite bullish and made some trouble with bucking attacks he started without warning. We first wanted to train him for endurance because of his strong, athletic build but he didn't seem to like racing. David hired a new Rider, Joana, who had some experience with unusual breeds and difficult horses.
She helped to solve the problem with Sandmans rodeo shows and made him cooperate.

Their careed as studs began when they were four years old. It was Joker's and Sandmans first breeding season but no one expected what happened then. Sandman changed completely, became extremely agressive against other stallions and finally attacked Joker that hard that the two had to be separated from now on.
