Trying out different styles - approach to drawing and colouring, I have no idea how I managed to do the hair on this one. I'm taking drawing classes at the moment so my art teacher is all: DRAW DRAW FOR GOD SAKES!D': my fear of drawing of course is what if it doesn't come out right? Well, you never get good at something unless you throw everything at it, so I guess it's all about the huge curve of skill that goes with it. If you're not prepared to lose, you'll never gain from it.
so at least, if it's a failure, at least I learnt from it. OTL (haha that's my excuse anyway!)

And totally agree with your teacher. it's truly the only and best way to improve... to keep at it and learn from mistakes.
I really love the hair! too bad you don't know how you got it to be like that. because it really looks great. maybe you'll figure it out again. And the texture adn patterns are fun too. I like this
