Even though its a little different than what I usually like, this picture is amazing...Truely! you have captured alot of beauty in this shot and it expresses and gets across exactly what you wanted (As far as I know) and just everything about this is stunning, you should be proud to have such an amazing gift!

I really like the colour on the eye. I know what you mean about working on things to beyond the point of really "seeing it" though. When I was at college I did a series of Paradise Lost manipulations. I look at them now and cringe! I like what youve done here though - it doesnt look overly manipulated at all.

I like the idea so much!! Very creative! Colour are beautiful too. The only thing distrubing me is the frame on face.. I think you could play with it and add for example bloody lines around the face instead of that..

The hand is too upright... the "mask" seems to be floating in front of the hand. Also, the shadow on the chin looks weird... you correctly cast the pinky's on your mouth and cheek, but the horizontal shadow that' still on the chin looks like a leftover from the original shot.
I really like the colors.
