i enjoyed working on this piece. It took me about 6 hours on Photoshop CS6. I used my 4x8 graphic tablet. this is a hybrid between photo manipulation and a digital painting. i started with several stock images combined them into one image. Then I painted on top of that layer. The glow was so much fun working on it. When I first started digital painting this is what I always wanted to create something like this...hopefully there will be plenty more coming soon, I hope.I used some stock photos found here on deviant art. big thanks to @Kuoma-stock for the back ground.

your haze effect is really good the lighting nice the effect on the butterfly is very pretty and looks like its glowing not just a bright color the grass is brilliant also i really like your hair!

Sure.. It is a beautiful piece. I love how you put the highlights in just the right places, and you phased out the trees in the background perfectly.. Not to much but just enough. There really isn't a lot I can say other than this....a lovely picture!!

Softyrider62 do you think it feels like she is actually looking at it???b/c alot of times during the manip process it can come out with a "1000 yard stare" effect...where it apears to not be looking correctly

^^ I am not so good with critiques but I can give a possibly give a maybe helpful tip. A little bit of extra contrast between her and the back ground would of went well but its a very good choice of mixes and a very sweet picture.
