Actually, SLPG paid for this image for the novel, Cethe(slpublishinggroup.com/content/β¦ . We went through X-7 Studio back in 2009 and commissioned this image. The reason the markings on the face are missing and the background is flipped is because this initial image that was presented to us was incorrect given the instructions. The character of Michael in the book does not have blue markings so we asked her to remove them. Additionally, we wanted the image to wrap around the entire cover of the book so we asked her to change the background. She flipped the castle and extended the background to the left. just one small thing, that I noticed after staring after some time, it's just that the blonde guy's fingers are kinda too long. I know that the fingernails are supposed to do that, and I realised, but even for fingernails the tip bit is slightly longer than it should. Although I only noticed coz i was focusing on the hands for ages, so it's not a big thing.
Also, maybe because I was comparing the length of the fingers to my own, and I have small hands.......
