Spring, Year 757 of the New Age, Windborne, The Cape

A long overdue picture (my fault!) to accompany a long completed RP between myself and =MelonHeadGirl . Mel did the lovely lines for this and I coloured - and I realise I have got the colour of the flower that Acka is holding wrong so I shall have to change that when I get a chance xP

Tzilan found himself leaning in to peer more closely at the strange bird, hidden away under Thalia’s silky tail-hair. He was suddenly fascinated; a maggot eater, one of which was bad luck but two of which were good? How very strange.. he would have to consult with the wind on this.

The golden stag’s mind was racing, more questions begging to be asked bubbling at the surface, but at Thalia’s small statement he stopped. Slowly, he looked up, gazing intently at the dark young doe’s face as she watched her companion. She looked suddenly very young and very lost; she was so tall that he had forgotten his first impression of her as a nervous child and had been thinking of her simply as a shy adult. But with that little mutter, and the way she interacted with the bird there was no mistaking it.

“If you are unhappy, you must not stay,” he murmured softly, still gazing intently at her face. “Your mother must be worried for you; I can guide you some of the way.”
