Description
Jeiokha hiding from the three nameless raccoons who killed his parents and newborn brothers and sisters
The raccoons are essentially brainwashed, threatened by Zared to do his bidding. Zared sent them to destroy Jeiokha’s family, hoping he could thwart a divine promise that sentenced to destroy his evil.
Jeiokha was the only one to get away. One raccoon saw him, but after feeling great regret, he let him slip and didn’t tell the others...

In Underwing, they're described as appearing like they were once raccoon. All of Zareds slaves have something about them that seem like theyve been malformed inside and out.
Zared is a beast claiming to surpass all life on Earth, including humans. At the beginning of Underwing, he clearly has it in for snakes like Jeiokha, but it's clear later on he would hurt all who stands in his way. What does he want? What's the end he seems to achieve? Well, its told in the story.

Well, I just finished a Redwall book I was finishing, so I've made a start.
Already kind of imagining my own cast list as I go... Patrick Stewart as the stag Frynon, Ian McKellen as old Lang the falcon...
Possibly even Benedict Cumberbatch as that dark Beast (in his Smaug-voice, that is - he's just made his first appearance, ranting at that Grima Wormtongue raven)
