Description i enjoyed the last fairy/mermaids piece i worked on quite a bit, so i thought it's fun to paint another one, and make them a set.

I really love all the rose-colored tones! As well as the combination of lace and flowers. I love the way you've combined very opaque areas of painting (such as face and hands) with very sheer areas (such as her lacy dress) to help break up the composition. This also has a great flow for the eye between her overall pose, the flow of the fabric, and the placement of the individual roses. I also like the anatomical correctness of the spine combined with how whimsically and delicately it's rendered. And also between the design of her curls and the way the swan looks like a hair piece, there's just so many details in this piece to notice and appreciate, but you've done it all in a way that is not overwhelming to the eye. =]

This is absolutely gorgeous!

AIIIE!!! I love the hair wings ! Total retro anime nostalgia ^^! Wait.....*zooms*.....Oh, its a bird. When I saw it I thought it was the hair xD. Either way the spine torso was another factor that drew me in . Very well done.
