Description I want to call him Fluffy-bunnykins! This is me, pretending to know what I am doing. I guess I have been broadening my horizons lately. I love wolves. They are so absolutely gorgeous. I don’t, however, like the fact that wolves are always portrayed as the villains. Decades of Old Wives Tales have given the wolf an unjust reputation. It really upsets me, because most wolves aren’t devious at all! In fact, being devious is a characteristic of humans, not animals.

This is my interpretation of C.S. Lewis’ Captain of the White Witch’s secret police, Maugrim. He was my favorite bad guy in both the book and the movie. I loved how cocky he was. I should do wolves more often. They are fun! However, I think my hand is going to fall off because of all those hairs!

I think the image of wolves being bad guys died out a couple of decades ago. They have quite a good reputation nowadays, from my experience. This picture is really nice, are prismacolours some kind of pencil?

Maugrim was fabulous! And this is a very nice interpretation of him. The expression is so wise and somehow so very arrogant, like he knows just how important he is. But not in a way that he'd be full of himself but like he knows that he is needed, the feeling of a leader. And you've done the fur so well, that must've been painful. All the little details, I guess I would have lost my mind doing those. Oh yes, back to the point. I also like all the colours you chose, this not being a traditional gray-blueish wolf. And I love the snout! It's just so lovely.

I could have Aslan. Or at least I'd love to meet him. [I just loved Liam Neeson's voice there!]

I agree. Wolves are misinterpreted as violent killing machines, just like sharks, tigers, leopards, and generally all predators. I hate it. People don't realize how beautiful they are! Last time we tried to kill them off, in Alaska, the Caribou population shot up, and they ate too much grass, and the wolves almost died off. Anyhow, enough of my animal-loving stuff. I can see how your hand would fall off.. I'm surprised its not your whole arm!! It looks stunningly realistic, and the colors blend together great! Great job! (yes, you should do more wolves) Oh, and another thing. I won't take Maugrim, but can I have Edmund? Or at LEAST Peter!? *gives a group hug to wolves, CON characters, and fire-n-ash* *bows down, worships, and favs*

It is very true. If people look at them with such eyes than I hate to think of what they think of mankind. We kill for sport and money, they kill to survive. Grr!

Quite true about predators. They don't attack us because they want to, they do it because they are threatened, afraid, or are extremely hungry! *sniffle* People just don't understand.

Jeweli of the Wolves, they are good and bad...they aren't my fav books but I love the wolf parts...
I LOVE WOLVES! I love horses more...and then wolves...and then raptors and wild large types of cats(panthers etc)

well considering your skill level i thought the green bg was a bit so-so. still, in 4 hours time to create this is just unbelievable to me! the wolf looks superb, my only thought was maybe where the dark shadowy part of the ear that's closer to us, there would have been some tufts of fur going up into it a bit. otherwise great pic, and ya' know i'm only nitpickin' on ya' cuz' yer sooooo good!
