Its too bad you feel you have to ruin all your images with watermarks. A thief can remove them, but for the rest of us we can't enoy them. They serve no real purpose.

I post my work to get comments on my style and technique not to have someone without a gallery of their own tell me what I should or shouldn't be doing with the final project. You're very much entitled to your own opinion, but I honestly couldn't care less. A watermark deters enough people to satisfy me. If someone is going to go that far out of their way to steal a piece of art I can guarentee that they wouldn't be looking at my level of work. They'd go after someone far superior. You say in your journal that you're not trying to start a debate and yet you actively sought me out and posted this comment which stated nothing but your own loathing of watermarks and nothing useful to me at all as an artist.

Since I do have a gallery I am happy you aren't referring to me there. However I hadn't thought about the quality of your work since I happen to think it is nice. Just for the record, I did not seek you out, I just happened to see your work browsing animal drawings. Please excuse me, I thought comments were supposed to be useful and didn't realize you were extremely defensive and sensitive. Be happy and keep drawing - you do nice work. Thank you for responding. I will be more careful with my comments.

This is beautifully drawn; is there a sort of brown pencil you used? It looks too dark to be a sepia pencil...colored pencils, maybe? In any case, it's exquisite. It's very true to life and detailed....I'll probably say this sort of thing about all your horse drawings, but whatever.

This is beautiful! You used charcoal right? How do you get it to blend so easily. I use a thicker soft brush to blend it but it soesn't blend to that extent.

Actually, I used graphite. I have little smudgy-sticks that work great. Then I just go over it again to darken it.
